Augustijn Dark


The beer is not distinctly sweet, as many expect from a dark specialty beer.
Rather, it tastes slightly smoky with notes of nuts and caramel.

STYLE Belgian dark monastic beer, high fermentation with secondary fermentation.
VIEW Reddish-brown hazelnut color with rich full head.
AROMA Fruity (red fruit) and slightly smoky.
FLAVOUR Full-bodied and mild with notes of raisins and chocolate.
INGREDIENTS Water, barley malt, sugar, rice, hops and yeast.
